After studying at the Ludwigsburg Film Academy and a scholarship at UCLA in Hollywood, Felix Poplawsky initially shot commercials and trailer campaigns for television. In 2008, he then made his debut with the television series „Plötzlich Papa“ and has since shot over 70 television and cinema productions, some with international casts.
In 2011 Felix received a nomination for the German Camera Award and in 2006 for the Kodak Camera Award as well as numerous awards and prizes at renowned national and international film festivals. With „Out of Control“ he shot the first German-Chinese co-production on the international market for Asian cinema in 2016.
